Why We Built Team 651: A Look Behind the Curtain

01 min read When we started Team 651, we didn’t have a business plan or a five-year vision.
We had a dream — and a small two-bedroom apartment.
Me and my business partner Jason were living at 651 De La Montagne in Montreal. It was just a number on a building, but for some reason, we repped it with pride. It felt like our spot. Our identity. When it came time to name the team, we just said… “Let’s go with Team 651.” It was catchy. It was ours.
We had no idea what it would grow into.
